Children in Need visit with Tulisa

The BBC selected Haringey Shed as one of the charities to feature as part of a short film for ‘Children in Need Rocks Manchester’. Children’s Theatre were really lucky that a surprise guest came along to meet them all as part of the filming. X-Factors Tulisa came to say hi and watched them perform one of their songs for her.

This programme will be first broadcast on BBC One on Thursday 17th November 2011 between 20.00 – 22.00, and after transmission it will be made available on the BBC i-Player for 7 days. Extracts of the programme may also be shown on other BBC channels or services after the event. Don’t miss it!

BBC Children in Need exists to change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in the UK. BBC Children in Need are currently supporting c.2,500 projects that are working with children facing a range of disadvantages for example, poverty and deprivation; disabled young people and children who have been the victims of abuse or neglect. Since our first major Appeal in 1980 BBC Children in Need has raised over £600 million. For every penny that we receive from the public a penny will straight to a project just like Haringey Shed that helps disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.
