This September, Haringey Shed spent an evening at the London Peace Awards, where they were nominated for the Diversity Award and received a certificate recognising Shed’s “valuable contribution to peace and justice in London”. The London Peace Awards celebrate organisations which promote positive, constructive and peaceful activities in the city. The awards were presented by London Mayor Boris Johnson and the Reverend Nims Obunge, who both spoke about the importance of working together as a community to promote peace.
