We are looking for volunteers to work with us and enable our young people to complete their training.
We are looking for volunteers for the following project.
Helping Others To Learnis a fun and accessible course that uses drama and storytelling to enable young adults with learning difficulties to develop mentoring skills. You will work with a partner and as part of a step by step process, they will help you to devise and record your own story. It’s a really fantastic opportunity!
We need committed and reliable volunteers for the following dates. Ideally you would be available for all 3 sessions but if you aren’t able to do them all please let me know which ones you could do.
Sat 25th Feb : 10.00am - 1.00pm
Sat 3rd March: 10.00am – 1.00pm
Sat 10th March: 10.00am - 1.00pm
At the Irish Centre, Pretoria Road, N17
Haringey Shed will be able to pay any expenses incurred for travel and food and we can also help you work towards accreditation for your volunteering.
