Nightrider 2012
Fundraise for Haringey Shed

One of the ways you can support Haringey Shed is to help raise much needed funds for us.  Over the past few years we have run a variety of events and challenges for volunteers to get involved in.  We have had runners in a number of marathons, people throwing parties or cake sales and donating the proceeds to us, sponsored walkers and raffles all to raise money for Haringey Shed.  It's a great way to get involved with our work and to give yourself a challenge at the same time.

This year we are taking part in Nightrider 2012, an exciting 100km moonlit bike ride through London - a truly unique way to explore the Capital. The ride starts at Alexandra Palace in North London at around 11pm setting off on a 100km circular route past many of London's landmarks - London Zoo, Tower Bridge, a deserted City of London, Canary Wharf, Piccadilly Circus, British Museum, London Eye, Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square and more . The route will be fully sign-posted so you can cycle at your own pace.  The itinerary is entirely on roads for ease of access and quality of lighting. It will be clearly sign-posted so you can cycle at your own pace. Full support and back up will be provided.  The ride will finish at Alexandra Palace in time for some well earned breakfast.
