5. Become a Friend… Another way you can support us is to become a Friend of Haringey Shed. By making a regular monthly donation of £5 or more you can make a real difference. Setting up a standing order means your payment goes directly to Haringey Shed from your bank account and saves both time and money. 6. Fundraise for us… We have come up with some quick and easy ways for our supporters to help Haringey Shed raise much needed funds without asking you to part with any of your own cash! The following ideas are completely FREE but will help us to have a regular inflow of cash that will go a long way. eBay “Bring & Sell Sale” Is it time for a spring clean? If you are clearing out your loft, garage or wardrobe why don’t you donate your items to the Haringey Shed Bring & Sell sale? All we need is a photo & description of your items. We can then list them on eBay and watch them sell! Alternatively, if you prefer to sell on eBay yourself you can request that a percentage of your sale goes to Haringey Shed. Recycling. Help Haringey Shed whilst helping the environment. If you have old mobile phones, printer or toner cartridges we can recycle them and earn money for Haringey Shed. We have freepost bags that you can take-away or bring them in to us. Let us know what printer you have at home or the office and we’ll let you know if we can recycle your cartridges. Dr Panta Da Silva from Brazil and John McHugh from Ireland, two keen supporters of Haringey Shed ran the Dublin Marathon in October 2008 to raise funds for our work. Michelle Hubermann decided to request Birthday donations to Haringey Shed for her birthday. Her generous friends and family raised £1,000. Volunteer with us… …In our workshops If you have enthusiasm for music, dance or drama and enjoy working with children and young people, you may like to join our Inclusive Theatre team that supports weekly sessions in the evenings. Most of our staff are volunteers who enjoy this weekly commitment, often as a welcome change from their regular work during the day. Check out our regular workshop details to see which you would be interested in and available to commit to.

…At our events If you would enjoy a day doing something completely different and being part of an event, we would really value your input to help us out Front of House. There are many ways in which you can be part of the event: Sell our merchandise / raffle tickets. Arrange displays and the reception area. Usher our audience into their seats. Support the technical staff setting up lighting rig, sound system, stage, set etc. Be a driver to collect items for the technical staff. Film the show and edit the video after the event. Design the programme before the event …Youth volunteers Are you 16-25 and thinking about volunteering? Ever wanted to write a script, choreograph a dance or create the costumes for a show? Do you want to try your hand at designing websites, t-shirts or flyers? This is your chance to develop your skills, have your say and make an impact on the community.
